Can you eat the same things every day?

Find your zen with a simple meal strategy of eating the same things every day. Simplify your grocery shopping, food preparation and decision making about your daily meals by eating the same meals each day. You can still have a variety of healthy food within those meals. It can actually help you eat smarter and healthier if you don’t have to make choices about what to eat. It doesn’t mean you have no variety at all but you can prepare healthy foods that you know you love for the week ahead. It may just seem like meal planning at first but but it’s a little more specific than that. Don’t psych yourself out thinking you’ll get bored with the same foods. You certainly can change it up occasionally but the main point is keeping it simple and the same as much as possible. It does take some mental coaching and practice with your mindset. It’s one more way to be intentional about your life and what you do with that time. It ‘s kind of like a capsule wardrobe but with food. The way I started out was since I have a weekly work schedule I came up with a set meal I would have every day for breakfast, snack and lunch during my work week. Every morning my breakfast is a coconut & almond bar, my snack is fruit, usually a banana. Lunch is always a salad. This is just an example as you would choose what suits your lifestyle. Eating the same thing every day is also helpful to reduce food waste, reduce your grocery list and grocery bill. It saves decision making and time.Now, if you get a lot of joy from cooking or preparing different foods every day and that is a great hobby or love of yours this may not

be an area of your life you want to minimize. But alas even if you are a foodie person this really can still work for you. I consider myself a foodie and I do like to cook. My weekends are open to cook, try new foods and dine out. I love the freedom and structure it’s given me. It’s more mental space, more time to do things you love. More time to find your zen my friends.
